Chocolate-Dipped Marshmallows

These delicious chocolate-covered marshmallows are a great party food or after-dinner treat. Its hard to resist the combination of fluffy marshmallows and creamy chocolate.

Ingredients:

• 12 marshmallows
• 8 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
• Sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration optional

Instructions:

Insert a wooden skewer or toothpick into each marshmallow for easy dipping

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil

Microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth

Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, coating it evenly

Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl

If desired, roll the chocolate-dipped marshmallow in sprinkles or crushed nuts while the chocolate is still wet

Place the chocolate-dipped marshmallows on a parchment paper-lined tray or plate

Let the marshmallows set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for quicker setting

Once the chocolate is firm, remove the skewers or toothpicks, and your chocolate-dipped marshmallows are ready to enjoy
