Thai Garlic Prawns
Thai Garlic Prawns are succulent and flavorful prawns cooked in a savory sauce infused with garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce. This dish is quick and easy to prepare, making it perfect for a delicious weeknight dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients:
- 500g large prawns, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red chili, sliced optional
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix together oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar until well combined
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat
Add minced garlic and saut for about 1 minute until fragrant
Add prawns to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink
Pour the sauce mixture over the prawns and stir well to coat
Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the prawns are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly
If using, add sliced red chili and cook for an additional minute
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles
