Paleo Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake

Indulge in a guilt-free dessert with this Paleo Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake. A rich almond-coconut crust topped with creamy avocado-chocolate mousse, this cake is decadent yet wholesome, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without straying from your Paleo lifestyle.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Paleo-friendly
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh berries for garnish

Instructions:

Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F

Use coconut oil to grease a 9-inch springform pan

Almond flour, coconut flour, chocolate powder, melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and a small pinch of salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl

Blend until thoroughly blended

To form the crust, press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan

After baking for 10 to 12 minutes, allow it to cool fully

In the interim, use a double boiler or microwave to melt the dark chocolate chips, stirring until they are smooth

Put the ripe avocados, almond milk, melted chocolate, honey or maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract in a food processor

Scrape down the sides as necessary, and blend until creamy and smooth

Over the chilled crust, equally distribute the avocado-chocolate mousse

To set, place the cake in the fridge for at least two hours

Add some fresh berries as a garnish before serving
