Irresistible Caramel Fudge Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup of caramel sauce
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted
Stir in the granulated sugar and mix until well combined
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and glossy
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until the batter is well combined
Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips
Pour half of the brownie batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly
Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie batter
Add the remaining brownie batter on top and spread it out
Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top, creating a caramel swirl pattern
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares
